WHO IS THIS FOR?
Anyone and everyone, women and men, people who have bees and those who don’t. No beekeeping experience is necessary … just your love and appreciation of bees. This is not a technical series. It is a journey to deepen your own relationship with honeybees and the sacred life we all share. All the ground we cover here – the stories, the wisdom, the insights, the experiences – everything ultimately relates to our relationship with all life and whomever we love. Come one, come all.
Meet ten spectacular guests from around the world. Each are a blessing and a revelation.

IS THIS A LIVE WEBINAR?
No, this is not a webinar. The Sacred Path of Bee is a pre-recorded online series, available for you to do in your own time, at your own pace, anywhere in the world. A webinar often implies a live (and later archived) real-time interaction with a teacher and / or group. Webinars are wonderful, but they can also be fraught with technical challenges depending on what computer you have (PC or MAC), what generation it is, what programs your computer system has, how updated they are, and sometimes require a level of technical expertise that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Also, it is hard to pick a good time for an audience that is attending from around the world. And live webinars can also be impacted by storms. We have done our best to craft a path that is the simplest and most accessible for everyone, everywhere … in different time zones and life rhythms.
WHAT DO I NEED TO ATTEND?
You just need to have a decent internet connection. It doesn’t matter if you have a PC or a MAC, a current state-of-the-art, bells-and-whistles computer or an old faithful. If you can download and watch a youtube or vimeo clip, you’re in.
If you have any difficulty or complexity in registering through Paypal or with any other aspect of this site, just contact us. We have tested everything we can think of (under the sun, moon and stars) with the kind assistance of many people, ironing out every cyber glitch we can imagine. We are here to assist you. We appreciate your patience and will do our very best to respond to you within 24 hours (ish) … and in most cases, sooner. We want this to be a smooth and humming experience for you.
WHERE DO I REGISTER?
HOW CAN I REALLY BE SURE I WANT TO DO THIS SERIES?
Please watch The Sacred Path of Bee, the free session that Layne Redmond and Debra Roberts co-created. If this makes your heart sing, jump in. You might also enjoy Life, Love, Layne and the Sacred Path of Bee.
IS LAYNE REDMOND TEACHING IN THIS SERIES?
No. As most of you know, our dear friend Layne joined the ancestors in October of 2013. The Sacred Path of Bee series was something Layne and Debra had planned to do together for years. They discovered, in their unfolding friendship, that many of the experiences Debra was having in her sacred-in-the-ordinary, bee-tending life were resonant with some of the ancient ways of the bee priestesses that Layne had been exploring while researching what later became her seminal book, When the Drummers Were Women. What Layne shared in the free online session with Debra is comprehensive and covers a vast territory she had presented in workshops, classes, retreats, and writing over many, many years. That session is a great distillation of her offerings on this subject and worth watching again and again. We have also included some other links to Layne’s world on the Resources page in the series, so you can also experience more of her work that way.
HOW DO I “MEET” AND INTERACT WITH OTHERS DOING THE SERIES? AND WILL THIS BE TECHNICALLY CHALLENGING?
We thought long and hard about how to simplify the journey and create smooth sailing for participants to both learn and easily connect with each other. We decided to use Facebook rather than a website forum. Most people in the world community use Facebook these days and are already familiar with how it works (how to share words, images and videos). We have created a private, non-public, invitation-only Facebook group called The Honeycomb for everyone who registers for this series. This is a sacred cyber destination for your conversations with others on this same journey. Because the series is pre-recorded (and not live), more and more people will be joining the group over time. The Honeycomb is your place to connect with the community at large that gathers around the sacred path of the honeybee. And it is also a way for you to create your own constellations of connection through private messaging and emails with those people you feel a particular resonance with. We also respect that not everyone chooses to do Facebook. If that is the case, you can send your offering to Grace@holybeepress.com. She will post it to the community, along with your email address (with your consent), so other participants can reach out, respond and connect with you that way. Ultimately, this series is about your own work and time spent in this realm of sacred relationship with honeybees, so it can be done without doing any of the above. But we hope you will feel inclined to connect with the hive of us, in some form or fashion.
ONCE I HAVE REGISTERED, HOW DO I ACCESS THE SERIES?
You will be emailed a user name, password and instructions to access the series site.
NOTE: If you don’t receive this email within an hour of registering, please check your spam folder.
IS THIS SERIES JUST OFFERED IN ENGLISH?
Yes, at this time the series is only available in English. We hope to have it translated into Turkish next year. And if anyone would like to assist us in translations into other languages, please contact us.
